Three becoming a tree
On a sunny fall afternoon a group of naturelovers gathered in the forest, Tokkekøb Hegn, on a Peninsula in the lake called Store Donse Dam. Side by side we landed by the lake. Warmed by the sun. From there we explored the subtle liveliness of the forest and experienced wonders, art pieces, and a different sense of time. Here is peak into one of the experiences.
Three sensuous bodies gathered by a thick tree trunk. A beech tree with moss feet, and mint green trumpets playing in the moss. With our eyes in the moss, we watched the mini forest of tiny moss trees growing for ants and tiny crawlers to live and thrive. The standing trunk, cut halfway was both dead and alive. We climbed up steps on the bark. Some bark rotten and soft. Some hard enough to give your weight. One body hanging on the thick big branch. One body leaning. One body laying on the old heartwoods. Giving our weight. We were covered by round beech leaves. Breathing in through the human body all the way to the roots of the tree. Then breathing out. Letting go of what the tree wanted to let go of. An so we became part of the tree. A shared awareness of becoming one with the tree.
